This started as a two and carried on until we were introduced to Anne - can't believe this is a series about her and she only comes on as a bit part - who added a great dose of 'something' that was missing from this book and increased it to a three. I found the endless philosophising by the characters overdone and more dot to dot than Sartre. But I liked the twist at the end that the 'good' John was infact a thief.
